As everyone likes Burfi and also we have them on any occasion but today's recipe you can make any time and enjoy it. The Coconut Burfi recipe is an easy and tasty recipe made with Fresh desiccated Coconut. The coconut burfi had a melt-in-the-mouth soft texture. You can also make coconut ladoos with the same mixture. If not then don't worry here is the recipe just watch the video and make it at home. The recipe is also very simple and with a few ingredients, you can make your Coconut Burfi in 15 mins. I already uploaded the Pan Coconut Ladoo recipe you can overlook it on my blog. History Of Burfi... ?
- Barfi, barfee, borfi or burfi is a dense milk-based sweet from the Indian subcontinent. The name comes from the Hindustani (originally Persian) word barf, which means snow. Common types of barfi include nariyal ki burfi(made with desiccated Coconut), besan barfi (made with gram flour), kaju barfi (made with cashews), pista barfi (made with ground pistachios), and sing barfi (made with peanuts). Milk powder and sugar are the main ingredients of barfi. The ingredients are cooked in a vessel until the mixture solidifies. The mixture is then transferred to a shallow pan and cooled. Finally, it is cut into squares, diamonds, or circular shapes and served.
- In addition to nuts, barfi is often flavoured with fruits such as mango or coconut and spices such as cardamom or rose water. It comes in various colours and textures. Barfi is sometimes coated with a thin layer of edible metallic leaf known as vark. It is served at both informal and formal events. So, today we are going make nariyal Ki Burfi. Do try it once.
Ingredients :
- Fresh Coconut - 2
- Sugar - 2 cups
- Kandi Peda - 5 to 10
- Ghee - 2 to 3 tbsp

Procedure :
- Take 2 fresh coconuts, remove the hair of coconuts and use the dry coconut.
- Peel it, remove the black portion of coconut by using a knife. But here I didn't remove it.
- Wash it once and grate it.
- Grind and prepare the coarsely ground powder of these for 5 to 10 seconds.
- Preheat the pan along with 2 tsp of Ghee and melt it.
- Add 2 cups of desiccated coconuts and roast while continuously stirring it on the medium flame for 5 minutes.
- Add the Sugar and cook while continuously stirring until it melts completely.
- Now add Kandi Peda and mix well. Melt the peda completely.
- The mixture appears thick. Switch off the flame and set it.
- Spread some ghee on a plate to make it greasy, add the mixture in a plate and spread the mixture evenly.
- Garnish it with the chopped pistachios and press to fix them.
- Mark the cutting areas over it according to your desired size.
- Leave the barfi to set and then separate the pieces.
- The barfi has set and it has cooled down also.
- Heat the plate for 5 to 10 seconds from the bottom so that pieces can be removed easily.
- The fresh Coconut Barfi/Kandi Peda Coconut Burfi is ready to serve😋👌.
How to Serve ?
- Burfi can be stored in the refrigerator and consumed for the 7-8 days.
- Coconut Burfi is very simple to make and also delicious in taste. In very few minutes this Sweet get ready, no hard work is required and everyone will like it also, you can make this on any occasion...😊
