Today I am here with Akshaya Tritiya and Ramdan Special Famous Dessert Recipe which is one of the most Delicious and Healthy desserts that can be enjoyed any time is Sheer Khurma. But a lot of people hesitate to try it because it is time-consuming. As everyone makes in its own style. So here's my own method with a simple method and tricks for you so now no more excuses for not trying this :). The recipe is very very easy, just follow my recipe and enjoy the Festival. History Of Sheer Khurma... ?
- Sheer khurma or sheer khorma is a festival vermicelli pudding prepared by Muslims on Eid ul-Fitr and Eid al-Adha in Pakistan, Afghanistan, India, and parts of Central Asia. It is a traditional Muslim festive breakfast and a dessert for celebrations. This dish is made from various dry fruits, vermicelli, condensed milk, sugar, etc. Depending on the region, cardamom, pistachios, almonds, cloves, saffron, raisins, and rose water is also added.
- This special dish is served on the morning of Eid day in the family after the Eid prayer as breakfast, and throughout the day to all the visiting guests. It was dispersed via Greater Khorasan through the Silk Road. It is very popular throughout the Greater Iran region—especially in South Asia and Central Asia. Sheer Khurma is a really very delicious dessert and anyone can make it and enjoy it anytime. Must try.
Ingredients :
- 1 litre full fat Milk
- 1 Cup Vermicelli(Seviyan), crushed
- 1 Cup Sugar
- 7-8 Dates, seedless
- 3-4 Green Cardamoms, crushed
- 2 pinch of Saffron
- 2 tbsp Chironji
- ¼ cup Golden Raisins
- 7-8 Pistachios
- 8-10 Almonds
- 8-10 Cashews
- Rose Water(Optional)
- ¼ cup Ghee

Procedure
- Frist, Soak all the Dry Fruits overnight (An important step).
- Next Morning, chopped all the Dry Fruits and keep them aside.
- Now heat Milk in a deep-bottomed heavy kadhai. Add dates(Optional) and cook till it begins to change its color and reduces.
- When it started to get boiled, Add crushed Cardamom Powder, allow to cook on simmer for 3-4 minutes, and add Sugar, stir until the sugar begins to melt.
- Add Saffron, mix well and cook till the milk begins to thicken.
- Meanwhile, Heat 2 tbsp Ghee in another pan, add Chironji, and roast till fragrant.
- Add Raisins, Pistachios, Almonds, and Cashews. Roast till they begin to turn slightly brown and crunchy.
- Add the Seviyan and begin to roast till they turn brown.
- Add the Seviyan and Dry Fruits mixture to the Milk, mix well and cook till it comes to a boil and thickens.
- Here our Ramadan Special Sheer Khurma is ready.😋
- Garnish with roasted crunchy Dry Fruits and Saffron, serve hot.

- Serve the Sheer Khurma hot or cold, garnish with some crunchy Dry Fruits and enjoy it.😋
