History Of Chicken Lollipop...?
- Chicken Lollipop is an hors d'oeuvre popular in Indo-Chinese cuisine. Chicken lollipop is, essentially a frenched Chicken winglet, wherein the meat is cut loose from the bone end and pushed down creating a lollipop appearance. Chicken lollipop is usually prepared using the middle segment of the chicken wing or thigh.
- The middle segment has one of the two bones removed, and the flesh on the segments is pushed to one end of the bone. These are then coated in a spicy red batter whose main ingredients include red chili powder, and turmeric. The coated chicken is then marinated for a couple of hours. The marinated chicken is usually deep fried in oil. The exposed bone is sometimes wrapped in aluminum foil and it is usually served hot with schezwan sauce or any Chutney.
INGREDIENTS :
For Marignation :
- 500 gm Chicken Lollipop Peices
- Ginger Garlic Paste
- Black Pepper Powder
- Coriander Powder(Optional)
- Kashmiri Red Chili Powder/Food Color
- Lemon Juice/Vinegar
- Red Chilli Sauce
- Soy Sauce
- Green Chilli Sauce(Optional)
- Salt to taste
To Fry :
- Marignated Chicken Lollipops
- 1 Egg
- Corn Flour
- All Purpose Flour/Maida
- Oil to fry

PROCESS :
Process For Marignation :
- Take a large bowl, add washed Chicken Lollipop Pieces.
- Add Ginger Garlic Paste, Black Pepper, Coriander Powder, Red Chili Powder, Lemon Juice/Vinegar, Red Chili Sauce, Soya Sauce, Green Chili Sauce(Optional) and Salt. Coat this all ingredints properly with soft hands.
- Cover it and keep for 30 mins or 1 hour to marignate.
- NOTE : You can take Chicken Pieces as per your quantity.
- You can use Food Color, but here I used Kashmiri Red Chili. It also gives very nice Color.
- You can replace Vinegar to Lemon Juice, Taste is Same. You can keep the Lollipops 1 or 2 hours to Marignate.
Process To Fry :
- After 1 hour here our Lollipops are Marginated.
- Now add 1 Egg, Corn Flour and All Purpose Flour/Maida.
- Coat this properly and don't add Maida at a one time, add it as required.
- Meanwhile Heat up oil in kadai.
- Now our Lollipops are ready to fry, leave the Lollipop one by one.
- Fry the Lollipops until golden brown and crispy.
- In same way fry all the Lollipops and here Our Hotel Style Crispy Chicken Lollipops are ready to serve.ЁЯНЧЁЯШЛ
