😍Hey, Welcome to ItsMahajan so as there is Lockdown and we all are stucked in our home so Today we are come up with our hometown special recipe "Khandeshi Chicken Curry".Many of People don't know about the Khandesh Style Cooking.So basically Khandesh is Region which includes cities -Dhule, Jalgoan, Nashik and Nandurbar.Khandesh has a rich cultural and literary heritage.
As I know the most of Recipe's by just observing dishes being cooked - Especially while my mother was cooking and many other outside places. But, The most I remember My Hometown Khandeshi Chicken Curry. One Important thing while making these recipe we should prefer Garvaran Komdi or Desi Murgi. Desi poultry is a native flesh which is more healthy and powerful enrich with protein gives more strength to human body , in past people used to eat only Desi chicken and live disease free healthy life. Also this chicken has more good taste than the normal taste of native chicken. Flesh of Desi Murgi has Awesome Aroma. mag aala ka tondala pani 😋!!!
Ingredients :
- 1 kg Garvan Chicken or Desi Murgi
- 3 Onions
- Oil
- 2/3 Bay Leaves (TamalPatra/ TejhPan)
- Black Pepper (Miri)
- Cloves (Lavang)
- Star anise (Badishep / Badyan)
- Garlic (Lasun)
- Ginger (Adrak)
- Dry Coconut (Khobra)
- Coriander Leaves (Dhaniya)
- 3 tbsb Chicken Masala
- 3 tbsb Kala Masala (Special Khandeshi Masala)
- Salt as per Taste
Preparation of Masala :
Grind Onions,Black Pepper,Cloves(Lavang),Garlic,Coconut,Ginger together in Mixer.The paste should be thin and The Masala is Ready😇.
Process : How to make curry🍲 ?
- For Boiling the Chicken Take 1 Onion,3 tbsp Oil,1 tbsp Jeera,1 tbsp haldi and Salt as per taste in Pan or Kadhai.
- Now add 4 cups water and let Chicken Boil for 15 mins.
- After Chicken is Boiled heat Oil in pan/kadai and add our grinded Masala in it and fry it for 3 mins.
- Now add Red chilli powder and Kala Masala(Special Khandeshi Masala).fry it for 3mins.
- The colour of the paste should not become dark.
- Finally add our Boiled Chicken in it and fry on high flame for 3-4 mins.
- Atlast let it fry on low flame for 15 mins.
