History Of Sabudana....??
- Sabudana Khichadi,Sabudana Vada , Sabudana Balls , Pakoras etc is a traditional deep fried snack from Maharashtra, India.It is often served with Spicy Green Chutney, Curd and along with hot Chai and is best eaten fresh.
- In other parts of the Country, Sabudana Vada, sabudana Pakoras/Balls are the best option to have when fasting.Sabudana Pakoda/Balls recipe is yet another snack that can be made during Navratri , Ekadashi ,etc...Fasting/Vrat days..
- The other main Ingredients in this recipe are Sabudana, Roasted Peanut Powder,Boiled Potatoes.The Peanuts gives crunchy taste in between and add flavor to Sabudana Pakoras/Bonda....
INGREDIENTS :
- 3 Boiled Potatoes
- Roasted Sago/Sabudana Powder
- 4 tbsp Peanut Powder
- 3-4 Chopped Green Chillies
- 1 tbsp Chopped Ginger
- 1 tbsp Sugar (Optional)
- Salt as per taste
- Oil
Procedure Video...
Procedure
- Fristly Roast the Sabudana in Pan for 10 mins.
- Completely cool the Sabudana and grind coarsly in a mixer.Make a Powder.
- Now take a bowl add Boiled Potatoes and Smashed them properly.
- Add prepared Sago/Sabudana Flour and Peanut Powder.Mix it well.
- Now add Chopped Green Chilles,Chopped Ginger,Sugar and Salt as per taste.Mix all igredients properly and knead in dough form.So , here Dough is ready to make Pakoras/Bonda.
- Now take small size of dough and give round shape to Bonda,make all the balls/bonda in smae way.(You can also give any shape to Pakora).
- Heat up oil in Kadai and drop prepared Pakoras/Bonda one by one in Oil.Cook on medium flame untill Golden Brown.
- In same way fry all the Bonda / Pakoras.
- Here our CRISPY , SOFT SABUDANA BONDA / PAKORA are ready...ЁЯШЛЁЯСМ
How to Serve ?
- Serve the Sabudana Bonda Hot with Green Chutney...This Chutney is homemade... I am going Post it very soon ...It is specially for Fast...ЁЯСНЁЯШК
