Hey There, Its Lockdown 5.0: Day 67. Today is Second ❀Sharavan Somvaar श्रवण सोमवार❀ ,We all know sabudana Wade which is alltime favorite in fasts..We have made some delecious changes in this recipe which is adding bhagar flour in it...It will be healthy as well..I have posted this dish late so you can try it on 3rd Sharavan Somvaar श्रवण सोमवार....Lets Gets Started...




Why We Celebrate Shravan Somewar.. ?

  • At the time of Mahabharta, When Radha Krishna was young, Mahadev himself came to earth to see Radha Krishna's Raas..
  • Thats why in Shravan Maas, People worship Krishna(Vishnu) too...Expectially from Shravan Krishna Paksha Ashtami to Bhadhra Krishna Paksha Ashtami...
  • According Hindu Mythology, Lord Krishna is happy in this maas people can get Blessings from him by Worshiping him...

Ingrediants

  • 1 cup Tapioca, साबूदाना (Soaked overnight)
  • ½ cup Bhagar (Soaked 1 hour/30 mins)
  • 2 large Potato, boiled, grated, आलू
  • 1 ½ inch Ginger, finely chopped, अदरक (optional)
  • 4 Red chillies, finely chopped, हरी मिर्च
  • ½ cup Peanut Powderमूंगफली
  • Salt to taste, नमक स्वादानुसार
  • ½ tbsp Curd, दही
  • ½ tbsp Sugar
  • Oil for Frying, तेल

Procedure

For Soaking Tapioca /Sabudana :

  • Firstly wash sabudana then soak it in 3/4 cup water for 6-8 hours (Overnight)

For Bhagar Paste :

  • Fristly wash Bhagar then Soak it in water for 1 hour 0r 30 mins.
  • After that, take a grinder add soaked Bhagar , Red Chillies and Salt as per taste.Grind it and form a thin Paste .

For Vada :

  • In a bowl add the Soaked Tapioca / Sabudana, Grated Potatoes, Chopped ginger, Bhagar+Red chillies Paste, Peanut Powder, Salt to taste, Curd, Sugar and mix everything properly and form a dough.
  • Now keep Oil for heat in a Kadai and on the other side make Small Flat Balls from the dough and make in hole in the centre of Vada.
  • Same for another mixture. make small balls and keep aside.
  • NOTE : You can give any shape to Vada...
  • Fry them in medium hot oil until Golden Brown from both sides.
  • Remove on absorbent paper to remove excess oil.



How to Serve ?

  • Serve hot with the sweet curd or any Chutney you like.....
  • It has very different Aroma...
