Hey There, Its Lockdown 5.0: Day 102. Today is Last ❀Shabavan Somvaar श्रावण सोमवार❀ , Some of are bored due to eating same Sabudana Khichadi. So we are here with new recipe of Sabudana in new way....Do try this unique Sabudana Balls / Pakoras...Lets Gets Started...




History Of Sabudana....??

  • Sabudana Vada , Sabudana Balls , Pakoras etc is a traditional deep fried snack from Maharashtra, India.It is often served with Spicy Green Chutney, Curd and along with hot Chai and is best eaten fresh.
  • In other parts of the Country, Sabudana Vada, sabudana Pakoras/Balls are the best option to have when fasting.Sabudana Pakoda/Balls recipe is yet another snack that can be made during Fasting or Vrat days.These Sabudana Pakodas can be made for Sharavan Somvar/Ekadashi fast/Navratri fast /even for Janmashtami fast/ on any other Religious fasting day.
  • The other main Ingredients in this recipe are Sabudana, Roasted Peanut Powder,Boiled Potatoes.The Peanuts gives crunchy taste in between and add flavor to Sabudana Pakoras/Balls.

Ingrediants

  • Soaked Sago/Sabudana
  • 2 Boiled Potatoes
  • 1 tbsp Red Chilli Paste
  • 8-9 tbsp Peanut Powder
  • 1/2 tbsp Lemon Juice (OPtional)
  • 1/2 tbsp Sugar
  • Salt as per taste
  • Oil

Procedure

  • Take a bowl add Soaked Sabudana
  • Add Red Chilli Paste,Peanut Powder and mix it well.
  • Add Smashed Boiled Potatoes and mix it properly.
  • Now add Sugar, Lemon Juice and Salt as per taste.
  • Mix all Ingredients properly.
  • Now its Time to fry.
  • Take a Kadai add oil to fry.
  • Make small balls with your hands or using a spoon drop the mixture in to medium hot oil.
  • Let the Pakoras / Balls become opaque and then turn them with a slotted spoon.
  • Deep fry till the Pakoras become light golden and crisp.
  • Drain them on paper napkins to remove excess oil.
  • Here Crispy, soft Sabudana /Sago balls are ready to serve.



How to Serve ?

  • Serve Hot .
  • Serve the Sabudana Pakoras / Balls Hot.
  • You can serve with Curd , Lemon or eat as it is.
  • It is very Tasty, Spicy, Hot, Khatte Meethe Pakoras.
  • It's really very Soft and Tasty
  • It will Give taste of KHATTE MEETHE because of Lemon Juice and Sugar.You also add this. It's really Very tasty.
  • So you can called it KHATTE MEETHE Sabudana Pakoras.........
