Hey Friends, Welcome to ItsMahajan. It's Summer so, I am here with a new Summer recipe साबुदाण्याचे सांडगे. In Khandesh side this is very famous, in every Summer all Ladies make this recipe. There are many types of Sandage one of that is साबुदाण्याचे सांडगे, this recipe is especially for Fast but we can have it any time as a snack. साबुदाण्याचे सांडगे also known as Tapioca Vadam Recipe in South India for them this is perfect Fryums, crunchy bites that they have with Sambar rice or any south Indian meal. साबुदाण्याचे सांडगे is a very simple recipe with very few ingredients you can make it at home and can store it the whole year. You can add any spices you want but if you are making for fast then add what you eat in fast. I am making this recipe very easy so everyone can have it. Also, kids can eat it very easily. Intresting Facts Of Sabudana... ?
- If You are thinking, sabudana is sabudana is used in only India then just search word "tapioca pearls" on google.
- tapioca pearls is black coloured sabudana which is extracted from cassava root.
- In the United Kingdom, both sago and tapioca have long been used in sweet milk puddings.
- In New Zealand, sago is boiled with water and lemon juice and sweetened with golden syrup to make lemon sago pudding.
Ingredients
- 2 Cup Sabudana/Sago
- 2 Boiled Potatoes
- 1 large Raw Potato
- 2-3 Green Chillies
- Salt to taste
- Groundnut Oil

Procedure
- Firstly, Wash the Sago/Sabudana properly with water. 2-3 times wash it and add water till Sabudana deeps.
- Soak the Sabudana overnight.
- Next Morning, here our Sabudana is soaked perfectly.
- Now take raw Potato grate it and wash 2-3 times. Remove it's all starch.
- Meanwhile, make the Green Chilli paste and keep aside.
- Now heat up water, add Grated Potato.
- Boil it for 5 mins, keep it half cook. Do not over cook.
- Remove the access water and cool it compleltely.
- Now take Soaked Sabudana in a large bowl, add Green Chilli paste, Boiled Potatoes, Boiled Garted Poatato Kiss and salt as per taste.
- Mix everything slowly and knead it for 5 mins.
- Here our sabudana dough is form.
- Now grease the plate with groundnut oil and start to make small ball on it as shown in the video.
- Do same process for remaining and keep in the Sunlight.
- It take one day to dry, you can also keep under the fan.
- Second day again show the Sunlight so it should dry completely.
- Now they ready to fry and eat. Keep in a air tight container and store last a year.
- Heat up the Ground Nut Oil, fry the Sabudana Sandage.
- Wow they really turned Crispy Soft in taste.😋
- NOTE : For best result it's important to soak Sabudana Overnight.
How to Serve ?
- Serve When it's your fast, Fry the Sabudana Sandage sprinkle some chili powder and enjoy it.😋.
- You can also add any masala if you want, the recipe is very simple just follow the Video.😊
