History Of Ashad Ekadashi....??
- Ashadhi Ekadashi is one of the most important religious festivals that is celebrated in Maharashtra. This ceremony is generally held at Pandharpur where a huge number of devotees gather to celebrate the festival. It is a religious procession festival that is held every year during the Aashaadh Shukla paksha.
- As this Festival is celebrated in a huge way so Fast food is also very important. As many devotees have Fast on this occasion. So today I am here with this unique recipe that you guys will like. Try it once it's really awesome😊.
INGREDIENTS :
- 1 Cup Samo/Bhagar
- 2 Boiled Potatoes
- 4 tbsp Peanut Powder
- 3-4 Chopped Green Chillies
- 1 tbsp Chopped Ginger
- 1 tbsp Sugar (Optional)
- Salt as per taste
- Watter
- Oil
Procedure Video...
Procedure
- Fristly, Washed the Samo/Bhagar properly.
- Now heat up oil in a pan/kadai, add Chopped Green Chillies and Chopped Ginger. Saute it for 3 mins.
- Add water and bring to boil.
- Add Salt and mix well.
- Add washed Samo/Bhagar and mix well.
- Now let it cook for 5 mins.
- Here our Bhagar/Samo is cook, cover it and keep for 10 mins.
- After 10 mins, remove the Samo/Bhagar in a bowl, add Boiled Potatoes, Peanut Powder and Sugar(Optional).
- Combine all the mixture properly and form a dough.
- Now apply some oil to Palm and start to make Medu Vadas as shown in video.
- Here our all Medu Vadas are ready to fry.
- Now heat up oil in kadai and leave our Medu Vadas one by one.
- Fry Medu Vadas until golden brown and crisp. In same way fry all the Vadas.
- Here our UPVASACHE CRISPY, SOFT MEDU VADA are ready...😋👌
- NOTE: You can also add Cumin Seeds, Coriander Leaves, etc. In Fast I don't eat this all so, I made it simple.
How to Serve ?
- Serve the MEDU VADA Hot with Upvasachi Green Chutney, Curd or any Chutney you like or you can also simply eat it...👍😊
- This Upvasache Medu Vada are very Crispy form outside and very Soft from inside... Really they are amazing in taste and kids can aslo enjoy it...😋👌Please do try it once on this Ekadashi...you will also like it...👍
