Hi Guys, Welcome to ItsMahajan. Today we are going to make 15 mins main course dish सोप्पी फ्लॉवर बटाट्याची भाजी. Which is very simple to make, for tiffin or lunch it is the best option. I made this recipe very easy in khandesh style and required a few ingredients that are available in everyone's kitchen. So, We will not waste time talking more. We all know about the Aloo (Potatoes) and Gobi(Cauliflower). Let's Gets Started👍 Enjoy Watching.🙂
Intresting fact about Aloo Gobi?
- When you buy potatoes at that time it is Still Alive !!! This is the Reason why some potatoes gets Sprouts after some time...Ideally we should store them in Cool and Dry Place..
- There is also a confusion to lot of people that sweet potatoes (Ratalu) is type of Potatoes but it is not wrong asumption they are not same...It belogs to root family..
- Cauliflower is actually a flower that has not fully developed yet. The leaves of cauliflower are edible but have a stronger taste than the florets. China is the world's leading producer of cauliflower. Green cauliflower is produced when you cross cauliflower with broccoli.
- As, Cauliflower is healthy vegetable and also best option for tiffin box. The recipe is very easy and simple. !!!
Ingredients
- 2 Chopped Potatoes
- 1 Cup Chopped Cauliflower Florets
- 1 Chooped Medium Onion
- 1 Chopped Tomato
- Chopped Coriander Leaves
- 1 tbsp Cumin Seeds
- 1 tbsp Mustard Seeds
- 1 tbsp Aasafoetida (Hing)
- 2 Chopped Green Chillies
- 1 tbsp Crushed Ginger/Garlic
- 1 tbsp Red Chilli Powder
- 1 tbsp Turmeric Powder
- 1 tbsp Kanda Lasun Masala(Optional)
- 1 tbsp Coriander Powder
- 1 tbsp Khandeshi Kala Masala
- Salt as per taste
- Oil

Procedure
- Firstly, Heat up water in vessel, add washed chopped Gobi and mix well.
- Boil the Gobi for 5 mins.
- After 5 mins strain it and keep aside.
- Now heat up the oil in Kadai, add Potatoes. roast it and cook until get soft.
- Add Cumin, Mustard seeds and Aasafoetida. Mix well
- Add crushed Ginger/Garlic, Chillies, Onion and Tomatoes. Cook for a min.
- Now add all spices Red Chilli Powder, Corainder Powder, Turmeric Powder, Kanda Lasun Masala, Kahndeshi Homemade Kala Masala and salt. Mix everything well.
- Add Boiled Cauliflower and mix well..
- Cook the Sabji openly for 5 mins.
- Finally,Our Zhatpat Banevali Sabji "ALOO GOBI" is ready to Serve.😊
- Serve With Chapati or Roti.
