As you know Methi Paratha/Dashmi recipes are spiced Indian flatbread recipes that are very common across Gujarat and also various parts of the Indian States. But today we will make Methi Pakoras which is very simple and healthy. Also Best option for evening snacks with Tea it's just awesome. For this Pakode recipe, no more ingredients are required, in very few ingredients you can make it and also very easy to make... Let's start it👍 Enjoy the Video.😊
History and Benifits Fenugreek...?
- The use of Fenugreek dates back as far as six thousand years ago. Through discoveries, Archaeologists believe this spice was used as early as 4000 BC, when remains of this herb were discovered in Tell Halal, Iraq. Fenugreek was considered to be a medicinal drug and used by the Ancient Egyptians for this purpose.
- There are many names of Fenugreek that are: In India, it is known as Methi in Hindi, Oriya, Bengali, Punjabi, and Urdu languages, as methi in Marathi, Vendayam or Venthayam in Tamil, etc...As Methi is the best leafy vegetable which has lots of benefits also reduced with intakes of fenugreek leaves. Rich in Vitamin K which is good for bone metabolism. It is really good for our health especially in Winter we should eat this Methi...
INGREDIENTS :
- Fenugreek Leaves
- Gram Flour
- Chopped Green Chillies
- Chhoped Onions(Optional)
- Ginger Garlic Paste
- Coriander Powder
- Red Chilli Powder
- Turmeric Powder
- Asafoetida
- Cumin Seeds
- Baking Soda
- Caraway Seeds (Ajwain)
- Fresh Coriander Leaves
- Salt as per taste
- Oil
Procedure Video...
METHOD :
- Firstly, Wash the Fenugreek Leaves and Chopped them Coarsely.
- Take a big bowl, add Methi, Green Chillies, Gram Flour/Besan, Onions, Red Chilli Powder, Turmeric Powder, Coriander Powder, Hing, Salt and Coriander Leaves.
- Now add Crushed Ajwain and Baking Soda. Mix all the ingredients properly.
- Now add Water gradually, don't add the water one at a time.
- Mix well and make a Pakora batter, it's ready to fry the Pakoras.
- Heat up the Oil in Kadai, leave the Pakoras one by one by using a spoon or hands.
- Fry the Pakoras on medium heat until crispy golden brown.
- Finally, our Garma Garam Healthy, Tasty Fenugreek/Methi Pakoras are ready...😋

- Serve Hot with any Green Chutney,Sauce, Curd or eat as it is...😋
