What is Cluster Beans and Benifits of Cluster Beans...?
- The Guar or Cluster Bean, with the botanical name Cyamopsis tetragonoloba, is an annual legume and the source of guar gum. It is also known as gavar, gawar, or guvar bean.
- There are some benifits : Cluster beans contain glyconutrients that help in controlling blood sugar levels in the body.,Guar beans contain calcium, a mineral, which helps in strengthening the bones and thus, prevent bone loss,Gavar exerts heart healthy effects by lowering the blood levels of bad cholesterol (LDL) in the body,The presence of iron in gavar increases hemoglobin production..etc...
INGREDIENTS :
- 250 gm Gawar/Cluster Beans
- 1 Chopped Onion
- Chopped Ginger
- Chopped Garlics
- 1/2 tsp Cumin Seeds
- 1/2 tsp Mustard Seeds
- 1/4 tsp Asafoetida/Hing
- Peanut Powder
- 1 tbsp Red Chilli Powder
- 1 tbsp Turmeric Powder
- 1 tbsp Coriander Powder
- 1 tbsp Homemade Garam Masala
- Fresh Coriander Leaves
- Salt as per taste
- Water
- Oil
Procedure Video...
PROCESS :
- Firstly, Take Gawar and pluck its stalk.
- Wash the Cluster Beans/Gawar neatly.
- Now heat the water in Kadai,add 1 drop of oil in it and add washed Gawar. Cooked until they get soft.
- Here Boiled Gawar is ready, keep aside.
- Now heat up oil in Kadai, add Asafoetida,Cumin and Mustard Seeds. saute for a min.
- Add Chopped Onions, Chopped Ginger, Chopped Garlic. Saute it well.
- Add all the spices Red Chilli Powder, Turmeric Powder, Coriander Powder and Homemade Garam Masala. Mix it well.
- Now add Boiled Cluster Beans with water and mix it well. Cook for 5 mins.
- After 5 mins add salt as per taste and mix well. Add Peanut Powder and Mix it well. Cook again for 5 mins,add Coriander Leaves and turn of the flame.
- Here our Khandeshi गवारच बट्ट is reday to serve...😋
How to Serve ?
- Serve with Chapati, Rice or Bhakri, Papad...😋
