Moongache Vadya is also known as Sandge. You can make Rassa Bhaji or Amti from it. If there is no vegetables to make then you can have this recipe very quickly, it's best option. History of मुगाच्या वड्या..?

  • मुगाच्या वड्या is the Authentic Recipe from Maharashtrian. Moongache Vadya is also known as Sandge.
  • This Vadya are made in only Summer Season so we can store it for 1-2 years. To make this Vadya very simple ingredients are required.
  • In very part of Maharashtra it has it's own name. From this vadya we can make many recipes. One of this I am sharing with you...या वाड्यांची भाजी खायला एक्दम भारी आणि भन्नाट लागते, करून बघा...also, it is best option when there are no vegetables available in our kitchen...It's healthy recipe do try it once...

Ingredients of Recipe




Ingredients :

  • Homemade Moogachya Vadya
  • 2 Chopped Onions
  • 5-6 Garlic Cloves
  • 1 inch Ginger
  • 1 tbsp Cumin Seeds
  • 1 tbsp Mustard Seeds
  • 1/4 tbsp Asafoetida
  • 1 tbsp Red Chili Powder
  • 1 tbsp Tuemeric Powder
  • 1 tbsp Coriander Powder
  • 1 tbsp Homemade Garam Masala
  • Fresh Coriander Leaves
  • Water
  • Oil

Procedure :

  • Fristly, Heat up a drop of oil in kadai/pan. Add Moogachya Vdaya and roast it for 3 mins.
  • Remove it in a plate and keep it aside.
  • Now heat up oil in same kadai/pan, add Cumin, Mustard seeds, Asafoetida and saute it for a min.
  • Add Chopped Onions, Garlic and Ginger, saute it well.
  • Add all the spices Red Chili Powder, Tuemeric Powder, Coriander Powder, and Homemade Garam Masala. Saute well for min.
  • Now add water as per your quantity and Salt, mix it well and bring it to boil.
  • Lastly, add roasted मुगाच्या वड्या and mix well.
  • Cook it for 5 mins. Turn off the gas.
  • Here our झणझणीत मुगाच्या वड्यांचा रस्सा Bhaji is ready...






How to Serve ?

  • Serve Garam Garam with Chapati, Bhakri or Rice. Along with Onion, Lemon and Papad.
  • This Khandeshi Rassa Bhaji is really a very very delicious meal. खायला एक्दम भारी आणि भन्नाट लागते करून बघा...Do try it once.
