As it is a little costly dish... But if we make this Hotel-style PALAK PANEER/SAAG PANEER at home and everything will be homemade only Paneer from outside, that also you can make it at home. Don't worry about ingredients they all are easily available in everyone's kitchen so, we will not waste our time, and Let's StartЁЯСНЁЯСН...Happy watching. :)
History of Palak Paneer..?
- Palak Paneer is also called Saag Paneer. As, Palak Paneer is the dhaba restaurants often specialize. The terms Palak Paneer and Saag Paneer are sometimes used interchangeably in restaurants in the United States and Canada...
- Palak Paneer is a North Indian Vegetarian Curry with origins in the Punjab region. The dish is comprised of a spinach puree and fresh-pressed cheese(Paneer), with an aromatic blend of spices that includes ginger, garlic, and garam masala...
- There so many names for Palak like, called Spinach in English, Palak in Hindi, Marathi, Gujarati, and other Indian languages.
Ingredients :
- 1 bunch, Spinach Leaves
- 250-300 gm Paneer, cut into cubes
- 2 Onions
- 1 inch Ginger
- 4-5 Garlics
- 3 Green Chillies
- ¼ tsp Cumin Seeds
- Pinch of Asafoetida
- 1 Bay Leaf
- 1 medium Tomatoes
- ½ tsp Turmeric Powder
- 1 tsp Red chilli Powder
- 1 tsp Coriander Powder
- 1 tsp Garam Masala
- 2-3 Chopped Leaves of Spinach
- Fresh Coriander Leaves
- 1 tbsp Fresh Cream
- Salt as per taste
- Oil
Procedure Video...
Procedure :
- Heat the water in a kadai, blanch Spinach Leaves in boiling water for 2 minutes. Remove and transfer immediately into cold water.
- Now take a blender add cooked Spinach Leaves and make a smooth paste. Here Palak Puree is ready, keep it aside.
- For Green Palak Paneer Masala : Heat up oil in a kadai and add Chopped Onion, Chopped Garlics, Chopped Ginger and Cloves, saute until golden brown. Add Chopped Tomatoes and saute till they turn soft.
- Let it cool and then take a blender, add all the masala and make fine paste. Here Our Special Palak Paneer Masala is ready.
- Now heat up oil in kadai, Fristly, fry the Paneer Cubes untill light golden brown. Add Red Chili Powder, Coriander Powder and Salt. Coat it well, remove in a dish and keep it aside. ( This step is optional, you can also skip it. )
- In a same kadai, add crushed garlic, ginger, chili, saute it for min. Add preapared Palak Masala and saute it for 3 mins.
- Add all the spices Red Chili Powder, Turmeric Powder, Coriander Powder and Garam Masala, mix well. Add some chopped palak leaves (Optional).
- Now add prepared Palak Puree, water, salt as per taste and give a nice stir.
- Transfer the prepared Fried Paneer Cubes, and allow it to cook for another 2-3 minute.
- Lastly, add Grated Paneer, Fresh Cream and mix well. Cook again for a min and turn off the flame. Grated Paneer and Cream is optional, if you don't like then skip it.
- Here Our Green Palak Paneer is ready to serve. Garnish it with Grated Paneer, Coriander Leaves and Fresh Cream.ЁЯН╜ЁЯН▓ЁЯШЛ
How to Serve ?
- Serve hot with Tandoori Roti, Puri, Chapati, Bhakri or Rice.ЁЯН╜ЁЯН▓ЁЯШЛ
