Hii Guys, Its Lockdown 5.0: Day 95, Today we are going to make 15 mins main course dish Aloo Shimla Sabji..So We will not waste time in talking more we all know about Aloo (potatoes) and Shimla (Capsicum)...Lets Gets Started👍👍.....
Intresting fact about Aloo?
- When you buy potatoes at that time it is Still Alive !!! This is the Reason why some potatoes gets Sprouts after some time...Ideally we should store them in Cool and Dry Place..
- There is also a confusion to lot of people that sweet potatoes (Ratalu) is type of Potatoes but it is not wrong asumption they are not same...It belogs to root family..
- It was the first vegitable which was grown in space in a partnership between NASA and the University of Wisconsin
- Photosynthesis can occur in potatoes and when it occurs potatoes turns green !!!
Ingredients
- 3-4 Chopped Potatoes
- 3-4 Chopped Capsicum (Shimla mirch)
- 1 Chooped Medium Onion
- 1 tbsp Cumin Seeds
- 1 tbsp Mustard Seeds
- 1 tbsp Ginger/Garlic Paste
- 1 tbsp Aasafoetida (Hing)
- 1 tbsp Red Chilli Powder
- 1 tbsp Turmeric Powder
- 1 tbsp Coriander Powder
- Salt as per taste
- oil

Procedure
- Take a Kadai / Pan , add Oil.
- Add Chooped Potatoes in it.
- Keep the lid and let Potatoes cooked for 10 mins.
- Remove the lid check Potatoes
- Now add Chopped Capsicum,Chopped Onions and saute it well.
- Add Cumin seeds,Mustard Seeds and Aasafoetida (Hing).Saute it.
- Add Ginger Ginger/Garlic Paste.Mix it.
- Now add Red Chilli Powder, Turmeric Powder,Coriander Powder and Salt as per taste.Mix it well.
- Keep the lid and cook for 5-10 mins.
- Finallly,Our Zhatpat banevali Sabji "ALOO SHIMLA" is ready to Serve.😊
- Serve With Chapati or Roti.
- NOTE : You can add any vegetables and masalas.I Used Because what was available in my kitchen.😊
