So, Today we will make this recipe and one thing it is very easy to make and in just 5 mins your Peda is ready at home. Once you make it at home it's my guarantee that the result is awesome... History Of Peda...?
- Pedas/Pera originated in the city of Mathura in the present-day Uttar Pradesh. The Mathura Peda is the characteristic variety from the city. From Uttar Pradesh, the peda spread to many parts of the Indian subcontinent. Peda or Pera is a sweet dish hailing from the Indian subcontinent.
- Usually Pedas are prepared in thick, semi-soft pieces, it's main ingredients are khoa, sugar and traditional flavorings including cardamom seeds, pistachio nuts and saffron. The word Peda is also generically used to mean a sphere of any doughy substance such as flour or khoa. Variant spellings and names for the dessert include pedha, penda (in Gujarati) and pera.
- There are many varieties of Peda like, Kandi Peda from Satara in Maharashtra. Dood Peda, made famous by the Nandini Milk Co-operative in Karnataka, is another popular variety, etc.
Ingredients
- 1 tbsp Ghee
- 1/2 Cup Milk
- 1 Cups Milk Powder
- 1 Cup Custard Powder
- 1/2 Cup Powder Sugar
- 1 tbsp Cardamom Powder
- 1 tbsp Vanilla Essence(Optional)

Procedure
- Heat up the pan, add Ghee and Milk. Mix it well.
- Now add Milk Powder, Powder Sugar and Custard Powder. Mix this all properly and stir it continueosly.
- When the mixture starts to get thick add Cardamom Powder and Vanilla Essence(Optional). Mix it well and cook for a min.
- Here our Pedas Mixture is ready, now remove the mixture in a plate.
- Cool the mixture and start to make small Peda like ball, you can give any shape to Peda.
- All Pedas are ready, garnish with some Pista or keep as it is.
