History of Karah Parshad...?
- In Sikhism, Karah or Kada is a type of whole wheat flour halva made with equal portions of whole-wheat flour, clarified butter, and sugar.It is offered to all visitors to the Darbar Sahib in a Gurdwara.The Karah prasad is a sacred food; if it is not accepted, it may be interpreted by some Sikhs as an insult.
What is Kada Prashad?...?
- Kada Prashad is a Smooth, Soft, Velvety and Rich Halwa made with whole Wheat Flour (atta).One of the delicacies that is served in Gurudwara as a Prasad is this super delicious Halwa known as Kada Prashad.The word Gurudwara means the door to the Guru..
Procedure Video...
Procedure
- Heat Ghee in a Kadhai / Pan.
- Add Wheat Flour and cook till golden and aromatic.
- Add 1 Cup Water and mix well.
- Add sugar and cook through.
- Cook till everything comes together and Prasad starts leaving Ghee.
- Serve Hot or Cold.
- NOTE: ALL THE INGREDIENTS SHOULD BE IN THE EQUAL PROPORTION.
How to Serve ?
- Our Kada Prasad is ready to Serve. You can serve Hot or Cold it will give same taste.After all It is Kada Prasad.....!!ЁЯШК
