Hii Guys, Its Lockdown 5.0: Day 51.Manchurian is one of most famous street food in India.I had seen closely how these dish is made on streets ЁЯНЬ and Today we will try to replicate it in our Blog. Every shop has different taste of Manchurian but the Commanality is They All Taste DeliciousЁЯШНЁЯШЛ.




Origin of Manchurian..?

  • Gobi Manchurian is an Chinese Indian fried cauliflower dish.
  • It is another product of Adapting Chinese Cooking Style in India. So It is Created First in Kolkata during British Raj.
  • One of Indian Chinese Cooks Tried to make Indian Dish with Chinese Cuisine.Which become Famous Snacks Veg Gobi(cauliflower) Manchurian.

Ingredients :

For Manchurian Balls :

  • ¼ cup Spring Onion Greens, finely chopped
  • ¼ cup Cabbage, finely chopped
  • 1 inch-Ginger, finely chopped
  • 3-4 Garlic Cloves, finely chopped
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tsp Black Pepper Powder
  • 1 cup Refined Flour ( Maida )
  • 2 tbsp Cornstarch
  • Oil for deep frying
  • Coriander Leaves, Finely Chopped,

For Gravy :

  • 2 tbsp Oil
  • 1 inch-Ginger, finely chopped
  • 3-4 Garlic Cloves, finely chopped
  • 2-3 Green Chillies, finely chopped
  • ½ tsp Soy Sauce
  • ½ tsp Red Chilli Sauce
  • Red Chilli Powder
  • ¼ cup Spring Onion Greens, finely chopped
  • ¼ cup Coriander Leaves, finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp Cornstarch Slurry
  • Prepared Manchurian Balls

Prepared Manchurian Balls



For Manchurian Balls :-

Step 1

  • In a Mixing bowl, add all the ingredients and mix well.

Continue to Step 2...




Step 2

  • Now take a Kadhai, heat oil for deep frying.

Continue to Step 3...




Step 3

  • Fry Manchurian balls till Golden Brown and Crispy.( рд╕ुрдиेрд╣рд░ा рд╣ोрдиे рддрдХ рддрд▓े ).

Continue to Step 4...




Step 4

  • Remove in a kitchen towel. Keep aside for further use.

For Gravy :-

Step 1

  • In a Wok/Kadhai, add Oil.

Continue to Step 2...




Step 2

  • Add Ginger, Garlic and Green Chillies, mix well and cook for 2 minutes.

Continue to Step 3...




Step 3

  • Add Soy Sauce and Vegetable Stock, mix well.

Continue to Step 4...




Step 4

  • Add Spring Onion Greens and Coriander Leaves, mix well and cook for 2-3 minutes.

Continue to Step 5...




Step 5

  • Add Cornstarch Slurry, mix well and let it come to boil.

Continue to Step 6...




Step 6

  • Add Manchurian Balls, mix well and let the Gravy thicken.( рдЧाрдв़ा рд╣ोрдиे рддрдХ рдкрдХाрдпे )!.

Continue to Step 7...

  • Serve hot with choice of your Sauces.
