You can also call it Indian Burger/Bombay Burger. The dish consists of a deep-fried potato dumpling placed inside a bread bun (pav) sliced almost in half through the middle. It is sandwiched between pav and served hot with special chutney and fried green chilies. Although it originated as cheap street food in Mumbai, it is now served in food stalls and restaurants across India. You can have Vada Pav at any time of the day. History Of Vada Pav...?
- The most common theory of the Vada Pav's origin is that it was invented in the erstwhile mill-heartland of Central Mumbai. Ashok Vaidya of Dadar is often credited with starting the first Vada Pav stall outside Dadar railway station in 1966.One of the earliest kiosks selling Vada Pav is said to be Khidki Vada Pav, located in Kalyan. It was started in the late 1960's by the Vaze family, who used to hand out Vada Pavs from a window (Khidki) of their house facing the road...

INGREDIENTS :
For Aloo Sabji :
- 3-4 Potatoes, Boiled, Mashed
- 6-8 Garlic Cloves
- 1 inch Ginger
- 4-5 Green Chillies
- 1 tbsp Mustard Seeds
- 1 tbsp Cumin Seeds
- ¼ tbsp Asafoetida
- ½ tbsp Turmeric Powder
- 1 tbsp Corainder Powder
- Salt To Taste
- Oil
For Batter :
- 1 Cup Gram Flour
- 1 tbsp Ajwain (Optional)
- ½ Tsp Turmeric Powder
- ¼ Tsp Red Chilli Powder
- Salt To Taste
For Special Vada Pav Chuutney :
- ½ Cup Fried Besan Batter Crumbs/Boondi
- 4-5 Garlic Cloves
- 2 tbsp Red Chilli Powder
- 1 tbsp Coriander Powder
- Salt To Taste

PROCESS :
For Aloo Sabji :
- Heat a pan, add oil, Mustard Seeds, Cumin Seeds, Asafoetida, Garlic Ginger Green Chilli crushed, Chopped Ginger, Turmeric Powder, Coriander Powder.Saute for 2 mins.
- Now add Boiled Potatoes and mix well.
- Add Salt and mix it well.Cook For 5 mins and keep it aside to cool.
For Batter :
- In a mixing bowl, add Gram Flour, Turmeric Powder, Red Chilli Powder, Ajwain, Salt to taste and add required water as per the consistency and mix well.
- NOTE : Batter should be thin, not much thick in consistency.
For Vada :
- Now take a prepared Aloo Sabji/Chutney, make a medium size ball of Potato mixture and deep into the besan batter and fry them till golden brown.
- In same way fry all the Vadas. Here our all Vadas are ready.
For Special Vada Pav Chutney :
- Take a batter in spoon and drop into frying oil.Fry the boondi untill golden brown.
- Same way make the boondi. Here our Boondi is ready.
- Now take a grinder jar add this fried Besan Boondi, Garlics Cloves, Red Chilli Powder, Corianer Powder and Salt as per taste. Grind it coarsly and make a Chutney.
- Here Our Chutney is also ready. It's time to serve.ЁЯШЛ
How to Serve ?
- Serve the Vada Hot with Pav ,Fried Green Chillies and Special Chutney...ЁЯШЛ
