Whatis Tomato Biriyani..?
- Tomato Biryani is a flavorful, tangy and tasty one pot rice. Biryani, name itself makes us drool. I know a few kids and adults who want Biryani everyday for their lunch. Without Biryani lunch is not complete for them. Especially, non-vegetarian biryani is so popular in Indian Cuisine. But there are lots of vegetarian varieties we can make. There are Biryani varieties famous in few regions of India like Hyderabad Biryani, Ambur Biryani etc....
- There are some benifits like :Tomatoes are an excellent source of vitamin C and other antioxidants. With these components, tomatoes can help combat the formation of free radicals. Free radicals are known to cause cancer.
Ingredients :
For Rice :
- 1 Cup Rice
- 1 Bay Leaves
- 1 Cinnamon stick
- 5-6 Black Pepper
- 5-6 Cloves
- Water
- Oil
For Special Masala :
- 2 Chopped Tomatoes
- 1/2 Chopped Onion
- 2 Green Chillies
- 1 Dry Red Chilli
- 1 inch Ginger
For Tomato Biryani :
- 4-5 Chopped Tomatoes
- 1 Chopped Onion
- 1 Chopped Capsicum
- 1 tbsp Cumin Seeds
- 1 tbsp Mustard Seeds
- 1 tbsp Ginger Garlic Paste
- 1 tbsp Red Chilli Powder
- 1 tbsp Turemeric Powder
- 1 tbsp Coriander Powder
- Salt as per taste
- oil

Procedure :
For Rice :
- Heat up oil in Kadai add,Bay Leaves,Cinnamon Stick,Black Pepper,Cloves.Saute it.
- Add water and bring it to boil and add Salt to taste
- Add wash Rice.Mix well and Cook upto 80%.
- Here Rice is ready.Strain the rice in a plate and keep aside.
For Special Masala :
- Fristly,Roast the ingredients Tomatoes,Onion,Green Chilli,Ginger and Red Chilli.
- Roast for 5 mins.Cool it Completely.
- Grind this mixture and make fine paste.
- Here Special Biriyani Masala is ready.Keep aside.
For Tomato Biryani :
- Heat up oil in Kadai,add Cumin ,Mustard Seeds,Prepared Paste and saute for 3 mins.
- Add Asafoetida,Ginger Garlic Paste,Chopped Onion and Chopped Capsicum.Saute it well.
- Add Chopped Tomatoes and cook for 5 mins.
- Add all spices Red Chilli Powder,Turmeric Powder,Coriander Powder and Salt.Mix it well.
- Now add Boiled Rice and mix it well.Cook the Biriyani for 5 mins.
- Here our Khatthi Mithhi Tomato Biriyani/Pulao is ready...ЁЯН▓ЁЯНЕЁЯШЛ
- NOTE :You can add any vegertables of your choice...
How to Serve ?
- Serve Hot with onion,raita,papad,pickle,salad or as it is...
- Tomato Biriyani is very simple to make and very tasty recipe...Also in very few ingredients you can make it...
