History of PUDINA...?
- Mint was used throughout history to treat stomach and digestion problems and to freshen breath. The dried leaves were used to whiten teeth and as a pest repellent. Mint is still used in medicine, in beauty products and as a food additive..
- There are some Health Benefits of Mint are :Rich in Nutrients,May Improve Irritable Bowel Syndrome,May Help Relieve Indigestion,Could Improve Brain Function,May Decrease Breastfeeding Pain,Subjectively Improves Cold Symptoms,May Mask Bad Breath,Easy to Add to Your Diet..
Ingredients
For Rice :
- 1 Cup Rice
- 1 Bay Leaves
- 1 Cinnamon stick
- 5-6 Black Pepper
- 5-6 Cloves
- Water
- Oil
For Pudina Paste :
- Mint Leaves
- 4 Green Leaves
- 4-5 Garlic Cloves
- 1 inch Ginger
- 1 tbsp Cumin Seeds
- Coriander Leaves
- Salt as per taste
For Pudina Biryani :
- 1 Chopped Onions
- 1 Chopped Potatoes
- 5-6 Cashews
- 3-4 Chopped Garlics
- Chopped Ginger
- 1 tbsp Cumin Seeds
- 1 tbsp Mustard Seeds
- 1 tbsp Garam Masala
- Prepared Mint Paste
- Coriander leaves
- Salt as per taste
- Oil

Procedure
For Rice:
- Heat up oil in Kadai add, Bay Leaves , Cinnamon Stick , Black Pepper , Cloves. Saute it.
- Add water and bring it to boil and add Salt to taste
- Add wash Rice.Mix well and Cook upto 80%.
- Here Rice is ready. Strain the rice in a plate and keep aside.
For Mint/Pudina Paste :
- Take a mixer jar add Mint Leaves , 4 Green Leaves , 4-5 Garlic Cloves , 1 inch Ginger , 1 tbsp Cumin Seeds, Coriander Leaves and Salt.Grind all this in a fine paste.
- Here our PUDINA Paste is ready.Keep aside.
For Mint/Pudina Biryani :
- Heat up a oil in Kadai add, Chopped Potatoes and fry untill golden brown.Keep aside
- Add Cashews and fry for 2 mins.Keep aside
- add Chopped Onions and Green Chillies.Saute it for 2 mins.
- Add Cumin seeds and mustard seeds.Saute it.
- Now add Prepared Pudina Paste and cook it for 5 mins.
- Add Fried Potatoes and Cashews. Mix well.
- Add Boil Rice and mix it well. Add salt to taste.
- Cook For 5 mins and it is ready
- Finally,Our MINT BIRIYANI/PUDINA PULAO is ready.ЁЯН╜ЁЯН▓ЁЯШЛ
How to Serve ?
- Serve HOT with any salad or as it is....It's really amazing recipe....Yummy..ЁЯШЛЁЯШЛ
