Hey There, Its Lockdown 5.0: Day 103..So Today's Dish is Fast Dish /Upwas Dish but you can eat it anytime..Sabudana Kheer..This is going to be the yummiest sweet fast recipe..I have made this kheer during shravan but you can make it anytime...Lets Gets Started...




Intresting facts Sabudana....??

  • If You are thinking, sabudana is sabudana is used in only India then just search word "tapioca pearls" on google.
  • tapioca pearls is black coloured sabudana which is extracted from cassava root.
  • In the United Kingdom, both sago and tapioca have long been used in sweet milk puddings.
  • In New Zealand, sago is boiled with water and lemon juice and sweetened with golden syrup to make lemon sago pudding.

Ingrediants

  • Sabudana 1 cup (sago)
  • Milk 500 ml
  • 1 cup Sugar

Procedure

  • Wash the sabudana thoroughly ensuring with minimum starch.
  • Soak the sabudana in Water fir overnight
  • Heat a sauce pan or a kadhai, add milk, bring to a boil while stirring.
  • Add the soaked sabudana and cook on low flame while stirring in intervals until the milk is reduced to 3/4th.
  • Add the almond, pistachio, cashew nut , mix well and add Sugar.
  • Cook for 10-15 minutes.
  • Our Sabudana / sago Kheer is ready to serve.



How to Serve ?

  • Serve Hot.
  • You can also serve Kheer Cold. Garnish with few chopped nuts.
  • Note : You can add Cardomam Powder if there is no fast. I didn’t add because I made for Fast.
  • Sabudana Kheer is really very delicious. Try it and share your Experience.
